Common questions

What's the difference between a vision plan and medical insurance?
Vision plans (VSP, EyeMed) cover routine eye exams and prescription glasses or contacts. Medical insurance covers eye conditions treated as health issues — like glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, or dry eye treatment.
Do I need a referral?
In most cases, no. As an independent optometry practice, we're accessible without a referral for most vision and many medical eye conditions. Call us and we'll confirm based on your specific plan.
What if I don't have insurance?
We welcome self-pay patients and will always be transparent about fees upfront. Ask about our self-pay rates when you book — we believe good eye care should be accessible.
